The student ministry at Northside assists parents and families in raising teens to become men and women of God. Whether it is
a mission trip,
a worship event,
a bible study,
a fun group outing,
or relationships with faithful adults
the ministry facilitates many different kinds of opportunities that promote authentic Christian life. Our hope for each student is that they will connect with a group of students and one of our adult volunteers to begin growing through the relationships and experiences this ministry offers. Our hope for each parent is that we can come along side of you to be a resource and help in promoting real Christian life and relationships in the home. We aim not only to teach what the church is, but to train students to BE the church as well!
Clint Dickson,
Student Minister

Upcoming Events
Teen Mission Fundraiser
The teen group is having a fundraiser for their upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic. They are selling Pizza and Ice Cream discount cards and would like to invite the congregation to help. The cards are $10 and include discounts to 21 (yes 21!) restaurants in town including Avanti's, Papa John's, Papa Murphy's, Cold Stone Creamery, Dairy Queen, and many more! These make great stocking stuffers. If you would like to sell some of the cards to your family and friends, please see Katie Roberts or Marlene Hunteman.
Service Opportunities
Fransen Nature area
The Teen ministry has adopted a park in North Normal to clean monthly as a group.
Midwest Food Bank
The Teen ministry, along with adult ministries, has a special connection to the food bank. We work there often so we can help the food bank feed the hungry.
Students are encouraged to participate in a number of service opportunities.
