Imagine 2012
The Imagine Campaign is the driving focus for ministry and church life over the course of 2012. Fitting in with our mission and philosophy of ministry, the campaign challenges Christians to Imagine (or rather Re-Imagine) just how pervasive faith in Jesus Christ is: it defines every aspect of one's life. There are two areas, specifically, that require, more than ever, faith's presence- the home and relationships between the generations. Join us, this year, in ensuring that homes are sights of discipleship and engaging in inter-generational community through the ministries at Northside. What can you expect this year? Weekly Challenges, Parent/Child retreats, multi-generational activities, a family based youth ministry, adopt a college student...not to mention a wonderful sermon series on Ephesians. It is,afterall, from this book that we receive this text...
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Birthright Baby Bottle Fundraiser
Birthright fundraiser baby bottles are available in the Foyer. Please take a bottle home, fill with change, cash, or check and return it to the building by Sunday, February, 12. Birthright is a non-profit organization helping women with unplanned pregnancies.
Women's Retreat April 13-15
The annual Women's Retreat will be April 13-15 at Camp Warren Retreat Center in Decatur. Sign up sheets are available at the Connections Table in the foyer. For more information contact Chris Hightower.
New Sunday Morning Class
A new class, God, King and Country: Re-imagining Our Public Faith, will begin Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 9:30 AM. The class, taught by Dan Amolsch will be held in the auditorium. More information is on the bulletin board.

Pilates With Shawna- Tuesday night's, Shawna Guyer teaches a Pilates class in our fellowship hall. The class is from 6:30-7:30pm. Imagine this. God cares for our bodies! Get in shape with your friends at Northside every Tuesday in the Paula Hagar All Purpose Room ( formerly the Fellowship Hall).
Culinary Club- The Culinary Club is getting back to the griddle every first and third Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. Learn about food, cooking, and hospitality from Chef Jackie Baughman and her sous-chef Ryan. Imagine all the good you can do for God when you can make a good meal even better! Sign up at the Connections table to be part of this exciting group.
