Northside was born in 1983 to reach the lost for Jesus. And, reach them we have!

Many here, as well as those scattered around the world, have come to Christ. People have come with broken hearts, lives, and spirits. Marriages have been helped, friendships formed, and lives changed to the glory of God.

We have grown from 30 to 250 in attendance. Members represent many ages, races, interests, and backgrounds. This diversity has created a spirit of adventure, love, patience, understanding and unity. God is building something very special in this place, and He has used ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.

We are nondenominational, Christ-centered, & Bible-based. Our roots are proudly traced to the U.S. Restoration heritage, with the original emphasis of unity and love. Like the early Stone-Campbell movement, we do not see ourselves as the only Christians, but as Christians only. We are an independent congregation, free to search the scriptures to determine God's will for our church.

It is still our dream to be a church bound together by the blood of Jesus, committed to His purpose: to love God and to love the people God created.

We practice immersion in water for the forgiveness of sins, as exemplified in the New Testament. Salvation comes by grace, through faith and not by works. Yet, as James instructs, our faith is shown by good works that are an important part of our lives as Christians.

Communion, to remember Jesus and His death, is offered each Sunday. Our worship team serves by directing our hearts and voices in simple, beautiful acapella singing to both praise God and encourage one another. Each Sunday, we have a lesson from the Word to help us draw closer to Jesus.

Our vision:

  • We want to be more like Jesus.
  • We want to lead people to Christ.
  • We are bound by spirit and truth; not by tradition.
  • We celebrate the unity of the body of Christ, the church, recognizing that all have different gifts, strengths, and weaknesses.
